is an art director, designer, project manager and communications pro based in San Francisco, California.
Currently with Gap Inc. Communications' Content Marketing and Creative team, Brooke oversees the art direction on Gap Inc.'s digital channels, including the aDressed blog and social media, and works to find innovative new ways to elevate storytelling — giving customers, employees and investors a highly visual, behind-the-scenes look at clothing creation and customer experience development.
In her previous life as the art director for the SF Bay Guardian, Brooke combined her love of art and design with her organizational OCD to design and produce original covers, organize photo shoots, manage freelancers, lay out pages, and produce the entire alternative weekly magazine each week. At the same time, she served as the design director for the SF Media Co., where she managed page design templates and special projects for the San Francisco Examiner.
Brooke studied journalism and graphic communication at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, where her love of design and curation — established as a teen while collaging and reorganizing the pages of her magazine subscriptions — only grew.
Brooke is also an avid reader, photographer, crafter, short-fiction writer, and hiker.
